Postgraduate School

At the postgraduate school we offers Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on different programmes which is a research-based qualification designed for students who intend to pursue an academic or research career. The degree is awarded on the basis of the submission of a thesis which should give evidence of the candidate’s ability to carry out research, evidence that the candidate has shown originality and independence, and that the candidate has made a significant contribution to knowledge in a particular field. The programme takes between 3-5 years to complete.

Masters on the other hand is an academic qualification granted at the postgraduate level to individuals who have successfully undergone study demonstrating a high level of expertise in a specific field of study or area of professional practice. The programme takes 1-2 years to complete. 

Postgraduate diploma programs are offered to students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree. A postgraduate diploma takes one year to complete, typically consisting of 2 semesters of work. A postgraduate diploma offers studies at the graduate level.
